	Thin film and plasma methods are often used to prepare surfaces for subsequent bonding.

	Thin film electrode applied to a MEMS sensor provides a surface for wire bonding.	With proper preparation, seed layers can be deposited even on difficult materials; here a thin film Copper seed layer is shown on chemically etched teflon.
