7.19.2007 - MicroConnex upgrades ESI laser to increase speed and accuracy
MicroConnex upgraded its ESI 5330 laser by installing a Z-axis Beam Expander and digital galvanometer. The Z-axis Beam Expander (ZBE) allows spot size to be modified on the fly without degrading uniformity. The installation of a digital galvanometer will speed up the laser and increase its accuracy. These enhancements allow MicroConnex to widen its lead as a state-of-the-art laser processing and services provider.

MicroConnex has acquired a custom designed Nickel/Gold plating line from Technic Inc. The new equipment is a continuous plating system that is much more efficient than conventional plating processes, giving MicroConnex better quality and higher capacity.
