6.8.2010 - MicroConnex welcomes new Production Manager
MicroConnex is pleased to announce the return of Justin Jordan as Production Manager. Mr. Jordan, a strong proponent of lean manufacturing techniques and quality systems, has previously worked at Astronics, Prototron and Cir-Quick. He was one of the first employees at MicroSound Systems.

5.15.2010 - MicroConnex places order for ESI 5330HE Laser system. The new laser will significantly increase our capacity, our throughput and our lasing capabilities.

Mr Strole's strong background and experience with process design and flex circuit fabrication accompanied with his strong operations management skills will help MicroConnex in our efforts to implement continuous improvement. Mr. Strole has previously worked at a variety of companies including Metron Systems, Quantum Medical, Virtual IO and Siemens Medical Systems. He was also one of the first employees at MicroSound Systems.

MicroConnex has taken delivery of a custom designed line for plating elecroless nickel immersion gold. The line was fabricated by RK Fabrication based in Anaheim, CA.

7.19.2007 - MicroConnex upgrades ESI laser to increase speed and accuracy
MicroConnex upgraded its ESI 5330 laser by installing a Z-axis Beam Expander and digital galvanometer. The Z-axis Beam Expander (ZBE) allows spot size to be modified on the fly without degrading uniformity. The installation of a digital galvanometer will speed up the laser and increase its accuracy. These enhancements allow MicroConnex to widen its lead as a state-of-the-art laser processing and services provider.
