- Laser Micromachining and Laser Drilling: Few flex circuit designers have high end lasers for drilling and micromachining. Even fewer (if any) have pushed the technology to the levels we have. - Laser Direct Write Fabrication: Close collaboration with our laser partner, Electro Scientific Industries (ESI), allows us to combine custom laser control software with advanced beam shaping optics for rapid fabrication of fine scale flex circuits and MEMS devices down to a 10μm feature size. - Thin Film & Plasma: Deposition of thin films and plasma have many uses, including optical films, diffusion barriers, embedded passive components such as resistors, thermistors and thermocouples, strain gauges, IR detectors, implantable electrodes, and seed/bonding surfaces for multilayer structures.
